Mechanical effect
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic longsword. It has 3 charges. As a bonus action, you can expend 1 charge to cast Misty Step, teleporting up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can expend 1 charge to force the target to succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of your next turn. The sword regains all expended charges daily at dawn.
Description
This finely crafted longsword gleams with a faint silver light and is etched with swirling mist motifs. Legends say it was forged to deliver swift and merciless judgment upon foes, vanishing and striking with deadly precision as if the wielder were but a shadow passing through the battlefield.
DM notes
The +2 bonus to attack and damage is appropriate for a Rare weapon. The Misty Step-like teleportation bonus action (3 charges) provides tactical mobility without being overpowering. The stun effect adds a potent but limited control element balanced by a saving throw and charge cost. Attunement limits sharing and stacking. This item fits Rare rarity well, providing new tactical options without breaking encounter balance.
