Mechanical effect
While attuned to this ring, you gain a +2 bonus to Charisma. The ring has 1 charge and regains that charge daily at dawn. As an action, you can expend 1 charge to target one creature you can touch that is incapacitated, unconscious, or at your mercy. The ring severs the creature's life force, causing it to die instantly without a death saving throw or opportunity to stabilize. This effect can only be used on creatures that are defeated or surrendered, never on creatures actively in combat. If you are not attuned to the ring, you can use this effect once per day, expending the charge. If you are attuned, you may use the effect any number of times, as it does not expend charges when used by the attuned wearer.
Description
Set with a deep crimson gem that glows faintly when activated, the Anillo del Vacío Soberano draws out the lingering essence of defeated foes, leaving behind only an empty shell. Crafted by enigmatic necromancers, this ring grants its wearer a commanding presence, enhancing their Charisma and the power to end the suffering of those truly lost. Its magic is bound strictly to moments of narrative finality, not the chaos of battle.
DM notes
This ring fits Very Rare rarity by providing a +2 Charisma bonus and a powerful, flavorful one-action effect that kills incapacitated foes instantly. Limiting the effect to defeated or surrendered creatures and restricting use in combat keeps it from being an overpowered combat tool. The infinite use for attuned users is balanced by the narrative nature and DM discretion. The single charge for non-attuned users limits sharing and use. Attunement is required to prevent easy passing around the powerful bonus and unlimited effect. Pricing should reflect a high-value item given its strong Charisma boost and unique utility.
