While attuned to this ring, you gain a +2 bonus to Charisma. Once per day, as an action, you can touch a creature that is both incapacitated and either unconscious or willing to surrender. When you do so, the ring's gem glows red and a spectral wisp of essence is drawn from the target. The target immediately dies, leaving behind an empty, lifeless body. This ability cannot be used on creatures that are conscious or active in combat. The ring regains this use daily at dawn.

Description

DM notes

This ring's once-per-day effect mimics an immediate death effect but is strictly limited to defeated or willing targets and cannot be used in active combat, making it more of a narrative and roleplay tool than a combat advantage. The +2 Charisma bonus is fitting for Very Rare rarity, providing a strong but balanced persistent benefit. Attunement is required to limit sharing and stacking. The item’s power and utility are significant but controlled, aligning well with Very Rare guidelines.
